DESCRIPTION

The Taurus 3 Slicer Blade with Belt Kit is a specialised accessory for the Gemini Taurus 3 Ring Saw, designed to achieve ultra-thin cuts with minimal material removal. This kit is ideal for precision tasks such as slicing murrain rods, pattern bars, and other delicate glass pieces.

Thinnest kerf ever for Taurus 3. The Slicer blade is ideal when removing the least amount of material is desired. This blade gives you the ability to use more of your material and as a byproduct actually cuts faster than any of our “Ring Blades”. It is highly recommended for use with our Super Slicer. The Slicer blade is flat, giving it strength when cutting forward and backward, because of this, the cutting will only be from the front and back. Cutting from the sides will not only be very slow but will damage the grommets.

KIT COMPONENTS:

• Slicer Blade: Features a flat, fine-grit diamond edge with a 0.040″ width and 0.150″ length, ensuring the thinnest kerf for minimal material loss.

• Flocked Drive Belt: Kevlar-reinforced for enhanced durability, this belt is specifically recommended for use with the slicer blade to provide optimal blade support and stability during cutting.

• Orange Nylon Roller Grommets: Two grommets included to facilitate smooth blade operation.

• Cutting Direction: Use the blade only for forward and backward cutting; side-to-side cutting can damage the grommets.

• Recommended Accessory: For optimal performance, the Super Slicer attachment is highly recommended when using the slicer blade.
